I said that God is outside the purview of nature. How is it?

Let us see how the idea of God occurred to the human kind. About 30,000 years back human brain had not developed as of now. The thinking portion of the brain called Neo cortex was much smaller. Hence they could not make out how the females produced kids from nowhere. They started respecting and in fact worshipping pregnant women as supernatural beings.

In India the early settlers called aboriginals made some figurines of female goddess and called them Kottravai, Kali, Sooli etc. They offered worship and animal sacrifice to those female deities. In early Europe also female figurines were made and worshipped. Archaeologists in Europe found such figurines and called them Venus.  These figurines were depicted with big belly to signify pregnancy.

Even today in India special festivals called bangle festival is conducted to female goddesses in villages. This practice is akin to the bangle function done to pregnant women in south India.

This is how the god (goddess) worship started.
